The first coloured pencil with A·B·S - STAEDTLER coloured pencils now have a white protective coating
|
When children colour, the coloured pencil has to be able to stand up to a lot of punishment!

When they really get going in earnest, they can push down too hard and the occasional pencil can go flying. The consequences are broken and sometimes even unusable leads. |
To get really bright, rich colours, a lead has to be exceptionally soft; though which also makes it more prone to breaking. In order that colouring fun doesn’t have to slow down or come to a halt, STAEDTLER came up with a new idea: The first coloured pencil lead with integrated Anti-Break-System (A•B•S) promises uninterrupted creativity. The lead is surrounded by an innovative white protective coating. It is hard and robust, and makes the soft coloured lead up to 50% stronger and increases break-resistance by 30%.

The protective coating forms a white ring around the visible lead tip, protecting it better from breaking. By this ring, one also recognizes right away that it’s an innovative STAEDTLER coloured pencil with the extraordinary A•B•S protective coating. |

Coloured pencils will be especially needed on 6 May, the World Kids Colouring Day. On this day, all children around the world will be called upon to draw and colour many lovely pictures and sell them for a good cause. Here, the coloured pencils with A•B•S for uninterrupted creativity will prove very valuable. |

All coloured pencils from STAEDTLER are now available with this innovative protective coating.
